The heart of our trade: foundations, walls, slabs, floors and structural repairs. We build from scratch and work on existing buildings (underpinning, openings, consolidation).
Traditional lime renders, breathable and suited to both old walls and new builds. Lime lets the wall breathe and is ideal for the maritime climate of Belle-Île.
Dry-stone walls and structures, built without any binder. A heritage skill: a free-draining, binder-free structure, hence no hydrostatic thrust, highly durable and with a minimal carbon footprint, in harmony with the Breton landscape.
Earthworks, drainage and sewer works to prepare, service and drain the ground — ahead of building as well as when upgrading existing drainage.
Levelling screeds and encapsulating screeds for underfloor heating. A flat, even substrate, essential to the quality of finishes and to the efficiency of underfloor heating.
Application of resin systems on stairs: a decorative, hard-wearing coating (poured resin, quartz aggregate) to finish new steps or renovate an existing staircase. A seamless, anti-slip, easy-to-clean surface.
Building and repairing chimneys and stacks: stack masonry, weatherproofing (flashing), repairs and bringing up to standard. We address the infiltration problems common in a maritime climate.
Construction of concrete masonry pools, including infinity pools: earthworks, structure, waterproofing, surrounds. Demanding structures in terms of precision (levels, copings) that our structural work masters, including on island sites.
Concrete slabs and natural stone (granite) paving: courtyards, paths, terraces, parking and public spaces. Careful layout, bedding suited to traffic, and slope management for water run-off.
We do not carry out these trades, but our structural work anticipates them: we prepare the substrates, reservations and tolerances they require, in coordination with the specialist firms.
